ACCENT Your Face and body...
The revolutionary way to tighten and firm any loose, wrinkled or dimpled skin ANYWHERE on your face and body...
This treatment is designed to improve the thin, delicate skin that develops on the face, neck, and upper arms as well as the abdomen, thighs and buttocks.
Cutting edge technology - known as radio frequency, is used to heat the skin and contour the area being treated. The process is a comfortable, non-surgical procedure that requires NO anesthesia, down time or pain.
Firmer, tighter, more youthful skin can be seen in as little as one treatment, but usually requires 3-5 treatments at 2-4 week intervals to achieve optimal results.

ACCENT XL PRE-TREAMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Hydrate yourself by drinking plenty of water 24 hours prior to your scheduled visit. The better you are hydrated, the better your skin will respond to treatment.
Treatment areas must be waxed, shaved, tweezed, etc., so they are free from hair prior to treatment. Ideally, shave the evening prior to your treatment. This will reduce and unnecessary discomfort during the ACCENT treatment.
Do NOT wear any make up, sunscreen, powders or perfumes about the treatments areas to your visit – as these may interfere with the radiofrequency technique.
No tattoos can be present about the treatment areas due to metallic components in the ink that may react with the radiofrequency of the ACCENT XL.
DO NOT wear any jewelry or metal objects to the office or during the procedure with the ACCENT XL.
Wear clothing that can not be ruined and can be washed since possible contact with mineral oil is likely. Be aware that mineral oil can stain clothing so wear something you can afford to compromise.
Inform the provider of any known allergy to mineral oil prior to treatment.
ACCENT XL PROCEDURE
You will be placed in the appropriate position to treat the intended target areas and treatment oil (mineral oil) will be applied to the skins surface as a conducting medium.
The ACCENT XL will begin to feel warm about the area being treated as the provider uses a circular motion to treat the target region for 2 minutes. It is imperative that the appropriate skin temperature is achieved for tightening to occur at the collagen level. The appropriate amount of time for which the heat must be applied is also controlled. The target temperature is approximately 41-43 degrees C. and is applied for 2 minutes. This is known as volumetric tissue heating and is necessary for treatment success. Depending on the size of area to be treated, you may be in the treatment room up to 2 hours during a session.
Once the treated skin has achieved the therapeutic temperature for the appropriate amount of time, a lymphatic massage will be done to the area releasing the “toxins” fluids, and random adiposities into the lymph for drainage that will occur via bladder / bowel.
